  •  System Requirements Support

Implementing a new system or process requires a certain level of experience and knowledge. Resources within a claims organization, particularly those with the most experience, may be invested in current or past ways of doing things or not be aware of all that a new system or process can accomplish. PDA’s claims resources have experience working within a multitude of environments which provides them with the ability to quickly understand what is currently in place, but also what’s possible to achieve with a new system or process.

  •   Home Office Claims

Many of PDA’s customers self-insure their LTD claims. There are sensitivities associated with managing these claims in house, and access to the home office claims is generally limited to specific individuals. PDA not only has the expertise to manage our client’s employees’ claims, PDA resources can evaluate and manage these claims “at arm’s length”, thus eliminating intercompany conflicts of interest and relieving carriers from the burden of managing the access to home office claims internally.

  •  Quality Assurance

Quality reviews may be one of the most important aspects of the claim handling process. If implemented and maintained properly, claim resources are motivated to provide their best work and errors/trends are identified and corrected. PDA can develop and/or manage an existing QA program ensuring that accuracy, accountability and continuous improvement remain top priorities for your claims organization.

  •   Appeals

PDA has the skills, knowledge and resources to conduct appropriate appellate reviews. Whether it’s to supplement current staff, complete second level reviews or handle home office employee claim appeals, PDA has the expertise to meet your organization’s unique needs.
