PDA’s Annual Conference Continues to Deliver Value to the Disability Industry

“Overall excellent conference – all speakers were professional and very knowledgeable.”

Professional Disability Associate’s Annual Disability Education Conference, in its ninth year, was held on May 10th and 11th in South Portland, Maine. This event is centered around bringing clarity to issues and sharing knowledge about trends in the disability industry. Attendees ranged from physicians and nurses to vocational and claim consultants.

Two dozen doctors also gathered the day prior for a PDA consultant training event at PDA's office in downtown Portland. The pre-conference brings PDA consultants together from across the country to share best practices and continue furthering their knowledge of the disability industry.

Praise for the Pre-conference "good discussion, clarification of concepts, knowledgeable presenting" "casually informative"

“The pre-conference was a terrific opportunity for our consultants to ask questions and share experiences with not only the PDA staff, but the other consultants in attendance. The work we do is highly specialized and we’ve found that fostering an opportunity for our consultants to discuss situations they have encountered and discuss scenarios with other consultants has been very helpful for their continued growth.” – John Levesque, RN, Education Coordinator | PDA
